Throwback Thursday – Quick cards

This week’s Throwback Thursday project is using an old technique – the One Sheet Wonder. I used to do this years ago when I wanted to make up several cards at a time. The concept being that you cut out various pieces from a 12×12 stamped piece of card stock or Designer Series Paper and then turn all the pieces into individual cards, or in this case – 14 cards.  Here’s a few samples (the template and measurements that I used are below).

I used the Tuscan Vineyard and Banners for You sets from Stampin’Up! for these cards. The colors I used were the new or returning regals and neutrals selections including Merry Merlot, Night of Navy, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede. I added a bit of copper to highlight the banners.

In this case I’ll be using them for anniversary cards that I make for Alaska Airlines’ Concierge (I started that over 10 years ago when I worked with that team. They liked them so much I was asked to continue creating them even after I left).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping! ~ Lisa
